It's been a good while since I had time to sit down and write a bit. I went to my sister's the last two weeks of Sept. to help my mother out while my sister had her surgery. Becca's surgery went well and looks like things will be ok. I am so thankful for that. Had alot of things waiting on me to get done when I got back in. Just now feeling like I've made some headway on them. It feels like its been raining for a solid week and tolday was the first time in the long time that the sun poked its head thru the clouds. Rainy weather sucks unless you want to catch up on sleep.

Has been awhile since I last blogged. I ordered some microfilm this week from TN State Library & Archives which contains church records for the Shellsford Missionary Baptist. The cemetery of that church is where several of my Hale family members are buried. As I was trying to figure out how long it would take and mark the time on my Thomas Kinkade Desk Calender I noticed that the calender jumps straight from May 4th to Aug then continues on in August until you get to the 23rd...then its back to May 24th. I checked where Aug. should be ....and it seems to be correct there. Does that mean that May 5th--May 23rd we will have temps that feel like August weather? I sure hope not as August is one of our hotter months here.

Worked on some of my web pages today. It's spring break here this week so if I keep my head above water while Brittany is out on break I'm doing well. She's a great kid but she loves to test me ;-) Kids...go figure.

Thought I'd better write a bit about myself--not that I want just seems necessary. My obsessions: Genealogy, Books, Web Design(mainly of my Genealogy pages), flower gardening, wind chimes.(just to name a few) I love music.....both singing, playing and listening. Lately my interest in music has been Jazz. I love Fourplay, Daryl Hall and Michael Franks. I was born in Nashville in the late 60's and grew up in Tennessee(USA) Lived there til the late 80's and then moved to Alabama where I've been since then. More later---MB
Wow :-) My own blog space. Who'd've thunk it.
